Well i decided that i wanted to have my hair cut a bit shorter and a darker colour.
I have been short many many times before but it was quite a drastic change going from a Blonde Bob to Dark and short :)

SO here is what i got

Annual Dawn Cruise

Sunday the 17th January 2010 was our Annual Dawn Cruise with our car club.
Now we used to belong to another car club but due to club politics we have formed another group of enthusiasts and this was the groups 1st run as a club.

We met at Loftus oval carpark at 4:30am and as the sky started to get light we made our way through the National Park to Bald Hill to watch the Sunrise.

As it was dark we wernt really to sure how many cars we had.But watching the taillights infront and headlights behind it looked to be approx 20 or so cars.

Once we arrived at Bald hill we were also joined by the Muscle car club so in total there were about 41cars which was awesome ranging from Monaros..Fords...American Muscle..Holdens and Cryslers.

At about 6:30am we made our way down to Bulli for Breakfast at SeaSalt Cafe.
We had problems with our breakfast,they lost our ticket so eventually we had our breakfast and stayed around to chat to friends for a while before people started to leave to do to other things.

By this stage i was starting to feel unwell and could feel a sore throat coming on.

We made our way up to the Headlands Hotel for our usual Drink and feed of prawns but this time we didnt eat as we had breakfast so late.
After an hour or so we were ready to leave and i was starting to feel worse.

Overall it was a fantastic day and i suggest anyone that loves a sunrise to join us next year as its becoming bigger and better every year!!

Now i am still recovering from a nasty throat infection that up until today was actually getting worse due to the fact that i was having a reaction to the antio biotics...so now i am on different ones plus other drugs for the inflammation and swelling
So lets hope that i start to feel better soon.

Weight wise i am doing ok...i didnt lose anything this week but i put that down to being unwell and also its TTOM so a bit of fluid retention happening to :)

2010...A Year For Me!!!!

Well this year is MY year. I have spent the last number of years making sure that everyone else is happy but i think along the way i forgot about myself.Dont get me wrong i am REALLY happy with my life but i have forgotten to look after myself and its showing with my non existant weightloss.

This year i have made a promise to myself to get as healthy as i can to make it easier to conceive.As young as i may look i will be 31 this year and that clock has started to tick quite loudly.

So the first thing i would like to do this year is lose 3-5 kilos a month for the next 6 months to get my weight down by 18-30kgs.I think this is achievable with correct eating and exercise.I can do this as i have before.I actually used to run about 5kms a day as i was very ionvolved in sport and would play atleast 6 days a week plus whatever i did at school in Phys Ed and Physical Recreation.

Next i would like to go off the pill to get myself in a natural menstural cycle as i have been on the pill since i was 16 and have not come off it...so its going to be interesting to see what they are like.

Once i go off the pill i will also start taking pregnancy suppliments just incase :)

My Husband is also in need of losing some weight so i hope that he will do this with me (minus the pill and suppliments lol )

We had a very busy end to 2009.We moved in with my husbands Nan as she had a fall at home and spent almost 3.5 months in hospital.She was wanting to go into a nursing home but as she was assessed for low level care it was better that she came back home.
Its been great living here.She is not lonely and is loving having someone around to chat to and she is also moving around alot more these days and its not uncommon to find her somewhere up the backyard doing the gardening in the morning (not bad for an 87 year old).

Due to such a busy time we have not had any time to spend alone so i hope that some time in the next few months we may be able to go away for a weekend and spend some quality time together.

Have a few busy months ahead with work to...a trip to Melbourne,Brisbane and Perth for training and maybe a New Zealand trip this half of the year aswell.Atleast the perth trip i can spend some time with family.

Ok so an update.

I need to get some pics off the camera to show you some progress with the renos but for the life of me i cannot find it. :) the joys of packing and not knowing where everything is :)

Anyway not much has been happening other than packing and painting. The weighloss has not been so good but considering we have not been eating much at home due to time i cant really expect to much.

Work has been crazy and i have been working 6 day weeks so i am certainly looking forward to the October long weekend in a few weeks. Rob is going away so i will find some thing to keep mysself busy. I might even go to see a couple of movies that i have been wanting to watch but are a bit girly for robs liking :)

Im thinking i might go back on Tony Ferguson as it worked for me last time and i really need something to kick start my weightloss and keep me on track if i know i am going to be weighed by someone else.
And there seems to be alot more variety in whats available in the range...not just shakes like there was when i first went on it a few years ago.

We are going to be living down the road from a big park with walking tracks...there will be NO excuses as to why we cant do any exercise as we are 50m down the road from somewhere. Now with the weather warming up it will be great to be able to walk in the daylight after work.
Might even get the C25K back on my ipod...that will be one of my goals...to run 5kms again this summer!! i used to do it everyday until i was about 18 when drinking and boys became more important :)

Ive been slowly catching up with blogs i have not read in a long time and some new blogs i have discovered from new people on We Are Slimming so anyway the roast chicken is in the oven so i best be checking on it and preparing the sweet potato to go in the oven!

Well im doing another challenge!!!!!

This time its only 6 weeks which is great as the last few challenges i have given up about the 6 week mark.

So whats different this time?

Well we are in the process of moving into my husbands nans house as she has decided to go into a nursing home.So at the moment we are renovating and painting etc so we can move in.
Now she lives on the side of a hill and to get up to the house there are about 47 steps plus quite a long path thats on an incline,and once you are at the top of the stairs there is another path which leads up to the backdoor which is also on an incline.
So we are pretty much having forced exercise...we are going to have great bums and thighs :)

I dont have time tonight for a long post as we are still trying to get things organised in our house aswell and tonight we start on the back room which is going to be a challenge.

So i will give you all a big update on the goings on in my life over the past few months in the next few days

I cant believe how time is going so fast these days!!!

Its almost the end of week 2 for the WAS 12 week challenge...only 10 more to go.

We are going back to Perth in August for my 30th so i want to wear something really nice....something to go with my boots LOL

Tomorrow is the last day of work then the weekend off.I am SO looking forward to this as i feel i have worked 7 days for some reason,and in particular today i really felt it as Rob was up a bit last night as he was unwell...so that meant i was also awake making sure he was ok.

On Sunday we are going on a car cruise for the Monaro Drivers and Enthusiasts Forum to the Illawarra Fly Treetop Walk.
I will post some pics up when we get back

Naaa not really....but the WAS 12 week winter challenge has started.

Originally i wasnt going to do the challenge but Jadey is doing it and i wanted to do it to support her....plus i really need it anyway :)

This week has been pretty hectic with work....We have had 3 new fragrances launched so i have spent the past week spraying like a mad woman and its really starting to affect my sinuses....Lucky our fragrances contain no synthetic scent only plant and essential oil based so it isnt to bad.

Eating healthy has been a bit hit and miss this week...but not as bad as it has been in the past after i completed the last challenge i think i went into binge mode.

I still have to take some before shots so i will post them up on sunday

Well the laptop is still dead...VERY dead but my wonderful husband was able to get some thing and attach it to the Hard Drive on the dead laptop and extract all of my files...YAY!!!!

Ok so the WAS 12 week challenge is over...i think i did pretty well (cant say that about now tho)
I lost a total od 5.1kgs and 9cms off my waist.

Its funny....there is a difference but i actually didnt see one at all...not until a few people made lovely comments on the forum.

So thank-you to those lovely ladies who made me see what i wasnt in the beginning...

So March saw us head off to melbourne for a few days.We actually only planned to head down to see the Avalon Air Show but somehow the 5 days we were there were filled with quite a few things.
We drove down which was a nice relaxing drive....coming into melbournes outskirts we were able to see the devistation caused by the Black Saturday Bushfires...and that was only on the freeway..we cant even begin to imagine what it was like further in.
Thursday we picked up a Perth friend from Hoppers Crossing who was going to spend the rest of the time with us and come back to Sydney and then be on his way to USA.
Friday we drove down to Phillip Island to see the historic racers as we knew a few people racing that day.It was also an opportunity for Rob to meet Larry who is a member of the GMH-Torana forums.They have been speaking to each other via phone for about 12 months now after one of the forum members passed away and Larry is the executor of the will..Rob and Larry were in contact as the member who passed away was in the process of building a very rare racecar.Larry wanted to keep rob informed of what was happening (Rob is forum owner) and they became great mates.The racing was awesome and chatting to Larry and seeing the racecar finished was great.

Saturday we headed off early to the Avalon Airshow...they had oredicted rain but when we left the sun was rising and it looked like it was going to be an awesome day...HOW WRONG WERE WE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
OMG what absolute shit weather...we were on the fence along the runway and on the horizon there was a cloud formation that looked like it was coming from the ground like a fire.The announcers kept saying that the radar was showing rain and it will delay the start of the airshow but it would pass quickly.NOT!!
We have never experienced anything like it....then again its not normal to sit in an open field watching and waiting for the weather to come.It hit us and it hit us HARD...the wind was so strong that we had to turn our backs to face away from it and the rain started coming in sideways and hard.Forget and umberella...we had ponchos but they tore due to the wind being so strong.After a few hours of this and being slightly damp the show started and we are glad we stayed..the place was a mudpit and i had to throw out my shoes but it was worth the wait..especially for rob who wanted to see the B1B Lancer bomber as it was going out of production.
OH and the sun was shining when we left haha

Sunday we had a meet up with the melbourne GMH-Torana crew aswell as ourselves and 2 other members from sydney and our friend who is a Perth member.
We met at hogsbreath and had a great lunch and it was good to catch up with some people we had not seen for a few years.

Monday we made the journey home with the addition of another friend from Sydney...so it was a far from boring trip.

My sister arrived a couple of days later as she came over to see the Kings Of Leon...So it was a great opportunity to have a get together with friends and cut the top tier of our wedding cake as we were celebrating our 1st Wedding anniversary!!

Speaking of weddings......CONGRATS to Jason and Jadey...i almost forgot :)
Im also part of the Bridal party which was a surprise and im very honoured!

So really not much else as happened.
I was offered a new job position which i acceted last week..Its similar to what im doing now but just more of a training and developing role.

a new 12 week challenge is just about to start again on WAS....i certainly need this one as after the last challenge i have put on 2kgs.

Australia Day

We didn't really celebrate anything for Aussie day this year...usually we have a BBQ with friends but decided to spend the day together and not do anything.
Our decision was mainly due to spending 2 days of the long weekend out for lunch on Saturday and then all afternoon at a friends house yesterday.
So relaxing was what we wanted to do.

So these past few weeks we have pretty much stuck to the eating plan with only a couple of days of eating away from the plan.At the BBQ yesterday it was BYO meat so we marinated some chicken in sweet chilli overnight and took that...was delish and the salads that we had with it while wernt diet friendly still satisfied.

The main thing we are not getting into is the exercise side of things...we KNOW we have to do it and we always talk about it but it never seems to happen.This week WILL be the week to kick start our exercise regime.

This eating plan is working for us and is easy to stick to so we will continue it no problems for the 12 weeks of the programme and see what happens after that.

Week 1

Well we have been following the CSIRO wellbeing diet now for a week and i think this is something we can follow from now on.
We are meat eaters and with this we are able to have it everyday.
Rob also LOVES bread etc and we are allowed atleast 2 slices of bread everyday....so hes not missing it like he would be with a low carb eating plan.

The first few days we were a bit hungry but now its easy....tho i think i will add a few extra things into robs eating plan as there arent quite enough calories for him and in the afternoon he feels a bit hungry before dinner.

As far as excercise went it was pretty poor..I did manage to get on the Wii Fit once this week which was great as it was collecting dust.Walking we didnt achieve like we wanted.Long hours for both of us meant getting home to late > i know its not a good excuse but it sounds good to me hahaha
I must say tho i did park my car futher away so i did get about 20mins walking in everyday so atleast it was something.

So this week is going to be another great week

The 12 week challenge on We Are Slimming starts...And today i got ourself organised

I did a MASSIVE shop which included what we needed for the week and also cupboard items that we will need all the time.

Tonight we took out measurements and before pics....so here they are

If you arent already on We Are Slimming then you should pop over and take a look.

We are about to start a 12 week challenge for weightloss.

I started getting myself organised today with a big clean out of the cupboards and fridge and have made a list of everything that we need to get started.

We are going to follow the CSIRO wellbeing diet which goes for 12 weeks which is perfect length of time for this challenge.

It been rather uplifting having a clean out of everything that we dont need....its also removed the temptation to eat and snack on the foods that arent good for us. DH HATES throwing food out as he sees it as a waste and would rather eat it...but this is why hes at the weight he is (myself included) so hes going to have to get over that otherwise this will never work for him and i will always be hearing that he needs to lose weight he feels like shit etc etc.

I will be blogging all the time (new years resolution) as i think that its the only way that im going to keep myself on track.

I will also be updating with measurements and monthly photos..

Well as i metioned in my previous post i have started writing down what i have been eating in a journal.I purchased it from a store called Made On Earth which is shop that specialises in gifts.
Its what they call a Sari journal and its a lovely gold colour with recycled paper :)

Now we have friends that arrived back from china last night.
When they first said they were going i asked them to get me a Louis Vuitton Bag as they were cheaper to purchase there than in Australia.
Just before they left the dollar crashed hard core and with the exchange rate it was easier for me to purchase a bag here.
So we left it at that....or so it seemed
They came over last night to give us our presents.
I was given a black bag with a black dust bag.when i opened it this is what i found.......OMG its a louis vuitton handbag........................
Now our friend isnt really a girly girl and as i had not shown her a picture of what i liked she went into the shop and purchased this.....its called a Trouville which is the everyday version of thier cosmetics bag....now to say im excited is an understatement.......but i can tell you now this is chrissy and birthay presents for a while to come LOL.

Well thats it for now as nothing exciting has happened at all this past week.
I have facials in Burwood this week then i will be doing them in Chatswood (hopefully) and Bondi for december and thats it until early 2009

So Busy

Work has been so busy these last few weeks i haven't even had time to think about what i have been eating.

I'm finding now with the warmer weather starting that I'm retaining a lot of fluid which makes me feel awful,so much so that i feel sick after eating from being so bloated eve if i eat only a small amount.

So its time to up the water intake which i think the first litre of the day Will be warm water with lemon juice to kick start the day and see how that goes after a week or so.

Only a short update as i have been up since 5am and at work at 6:30 unpacking boxes after our counter relocated...which will have to be packed up and moved again in a week or so to the permanent location after the renovations.

ok so its been over a month since i said that i would update hahaha im so bad!!!!!

All right so where do i start.........

I havent been weighing in at all lately which i actually think works better for me..i dont feel so much pressure to see smaller numbers every weigh-in.
My clothes are feeling loose so i guess this no weigh-in must be working :)

So what happened in September?

Rob and i went to cairns for a friend wedding.It was the firs time we had both been there and we had such a fantastic time. we hope we can go back again for another visit.We also met a couple from the Torana Forums that we now consider good friends so we will always have a place to stay.

Day 1.
We arrived early in the morning and it was raining.We had left sunny but freezing Sydney so all i could think of when looking out the window of the plane as we were landing was "GREAT more cold weather" ummmmm how wrong was i hahaha.....i forgot that cairns is tropical and when we stepped onto the tarmac it was sooooooooooo warm and even the rain was to.
We had friends that left and hour before us from sydney so we found them and our bags and went to collect the car. We plugged in our GPS thinking like most airports in AUS we would have a bit of a drive to get into the city.We were very wrong hehe it was literally a 5 mins trip and we were there. Our friends were staying a hotel close to us so we took them there first and then checked into ours. We found a fantastic place for lunch...a steak place and it was great.
Later that night we met up with the bridal party for some drinks and then went back to the hotel for an early night as we were dong a full reef tour the next day.

Day 2.
We woke up quite early 6:30am got ourselves ready then went off to the jetty to jump on a boat for our trip out to the reef.It was an overcast day with some winds and they warned us that it may get rough and to take something...either ginger tablets or travelcalm. We went the ginger route as Rob wasnt sure if he got seasick...Well he does as w found out about 45 mins intgo the trip.Over half the boat were out the back vomiting and Rob all of a sudden turned white so we sent him out with a spewbag and they gave him some crushed ice and he felt a bit better.
We got to our first reef site got our wetsuits and snorkles on and went in the water.
I have a fear of things being over/on my face so when i put my head under the water panick set in and i thought i was going to stop breathing. After some slow breathing i was fine and ready to put my head under again and after that i was fine.
The Reef wasnt as colourfull as i thought it was quite brown but there were some colourful corals in some areas.I dont think the sun being behind the clouds helped with the colours either.
After about an hour we were onto our next reef destination.We had lunch at this stage so rob was cautious on eating to much and i think he was glad he didnt as when we got into the water again he started to feel sick so he got out and took it easy.
Our third destination saw the sun come out for a bit and it made the water a crystal blue colour...it was absolutely beautiful.I actually got a bit burnt on the back of my legs and arms where they were out of the water.
20 mins before we were to head off back to cairns we all took travelcalm to be on the safe side :) The trip back was calm and we sat outside ont he top of the boat.
When we got back to cairns we went back to the hotel had a quick shower and went to dinner with our friends.

Day 3.
This was the day of our friends wedding.Myself Rob Petina and Peter went to the local shopping centre as Rob wanted a haircut and i wanted a mnaicure and pedicure and i also needed to purchase a new pair of shoes for the day.
After we had finished we went back to the hotels to get ready.Rob and i ordered room service which wasnt to bad then after getting ready went to the casino where the wedding was being held.
It was a lovely ceremony and the reception was great.
We ended up leaving around 10:30pm as we were getting up early for a drive up to Cape Tribulation.

Day 4.
We left Cairns around 8am after breakfast.Our first stop on the trip was Mossman Gorge...What a beautiful place.We did a walk to different areas and it was so quiet accept the birds and the waterfall.
Next stop was the Daintree River where we jumped on the river train and did a tour of the river along the mangroves.The tour guide was great and we even managed to spot a few small crocs and he even spotted crocs that were barely visible they were so small.
Once we got off the boat we went across the river on the car ferry and made our way to Cape Trib.
Once we got there we had a quick stop at a beach then made our way back to cairns.
We met up with some friends off the GMH-Torana forums for dinner and it was great to have a chat and to see thier collection of Aussie Torana History.

Day 5.
We met up with the Bride and Groom and some of thier family and we took the scenic train up to Kuranda. The trip was almost 2 hours but the scenery was beautiful.Kuranda is a small town and they have lots of gift places and markets aswell as a Butterfly Sanctuary.Our First stop was the pub hahah as friends we were with went ahead of us and we knew exactly where they would be.
We stayed up there for a couple of hours and made our way to the Sky Rail to head back to town.
The skyrail was fantastic as you are above the canopy of the rainforest.It was about an hour back and you can stop at a few places to have a look around and also have a look at some viewing platforms of waterfalls.
Once again we met up with our friends from the night before for dinner and had a great feed of seafood.
Then it was time to say goodbye.But now we have some great friends and a place to stay if we ever want to go back up there for another getaway.

Day 6. We left cairns :( and back to work heheh

So that was pretty much the only exciting thing that happened in September.The rest has been filled with work work and more work.

OCTOBER........

Well we arent to far into october but it has seen a few changes, not big ones but changes that are good for us.

The biggest change once again is diet :) we are trying to be good and keep the amount of take-away to a minimum. Ive pulled out recipes that i want to try and i will do them all :)

My first one while not really healthy was Pastizio and it turned out lovely and so yummy.

Tonight is poached fish in coconut and chilli.

I have gotten this cold that Rob has had for the past 2 weeks....its so irritating...a dry cough during the day and a chesty cough in the mornings....so to say that my throat is sore is an understatement.

I had a busy few days at the end of the week with facials and next week is 6 days...so im glad that i have done nothing for the past 2 days..its been nice..sort of

Rob has hurt his foot and its getting a bit worrying as there is no explination as to why his foot has been so sore and why when he stands it immediately goes red and inflammed.

He had a blood test on Friday morning to test for everything....Hes now getting worried that its a blood clot as a friend had the same thing happen but in his leg..so tomorrow hes off to get it looked at further.

Busy at Work

Had a pretty busy day today.....we are leaving one of the stores we are in so i spent the day cleaning out the reserve and packing up anything that belongs to the company

I think i had good exercise today taking everything out of the reserve and packing it into boxes...i think i walked a million miles.

had a good day on CS and for dinner we had standing roast (beef) with a pumpkin and pine nut salad with pesto feta...yummo

The Weekend

Well today i had a day off from CS which was fine and im thinking now i should have taken a shake with me on the muscle car cruise as there was such a line up for food we didnt bother eating.

Yesterday (saturday) i had a day off so i didnt do much..just some washing that needed to be done and relaxed :)
Rob was out at his mechanics getting an oil change on the monaro for the Muscle Car Cruise today so it was a great opportunity for me to do nothing and relax.

This morning was a reasonable early start for a sunday.
We left home at 8:30am to make our way to Eastern Creek for the meeting point for the car cruise.We decided to have a Mini Meet near the dragway with some people from gmh-torana.com forum people.
Once everyone was there we made our way to sign in.
When we got there the place was packed...so many muscle cars in one place.

At around 11am it was time to get in our cars and head off.....after an hour we were still out of our cars as there was still a line of traffic to get out.
Once we were on the road it was ok.We all met at the Regatta Centre in Penrith as its really the only place that can handle the amount of cars that were there today

1200!!!! cars they are quoting..and i wouldnt doubt that number thats for sure.

Celebrity Slim

Ive started it...after agonising over what way i could go to help speed up my weight loss without having to count calories to much etc.

Ive been doing it for 3 days now and so far so good.

What prompted me to start was how much i have ballooned over the past 3 and a bit months.I think is because we are married and not so stressed with things and are just to relaxed :)
We have had lots of dinners out with friend which i think has contributed to alot of my weight gain!

I cant believe that i have put on 10kilos since December last year..

So here is the lowdown

We Need A Change

Well we have decided that its time to try and prepare our own meals instead of getting Lite N Easy.
It is costing us about $800 a month between us and we think we might be able to do it a lot cheaper and just as healthy.
We now know what foods are good for us to eat and we can still follow the Lite N Easy daily food plan but just do it ourselves with our own food.

Well thats really all i needed to update.

We had my 88 year old grandmother here for a few days from Perth after she had stayed with her Army friend for a week on the Central Coast..
It was great to have her here and it was sad to say goodbye as im not sure when i will see her next....hopefully it wont be to long

Time for an Update

Its been far to long :)

But im not going to start it on a happy note unfortunately..My little boy was put down last week..he was getting skinnier and skinnier and when i was in Mandurah for the wedding i was going to take him to the vet..But the last week we were there he was eating 3 tins of food a day so we thought he may have been sick and was getting better.
Last week was the end for him :( he stopped eating and became very very skinny,mum and dad took him to the vet and they found a large mass in his stomach which the vet put down to cancer as it had not been there a few months before

RIP little Ocsar boy (he was 12)

The other cat Felix ran away a few months ago he was 15 and we think he may have gone off to die as he never wandered very far.

On Monday the 21st April is was Robs birthday..he had to work that night for a few hours so i made him a nice dinner the saturday before.

Tuesday saw a massive knock on the door at 7:15am..i thought it was someone delivering some post and i didnt get out of bed intime for it..What felt like ages after my phone rang..IT was my sister and i freaked as it was only 5:30am in WA so i answered and she was standing at the front door :) Was a shock thats for sure.
She had come over on her R&R week and surprised me for out second wedding/30th party

Wednesday night we went and saw Ross Noble at the ENmore...what a funny bloke we didnt stop laughing for 2 hours :)

Saturday was the day that we were getting dressed up for some pics around Sydney

Well ive been married for 3 weeks now :)

We spent the last week relaxing and one again catching up with people while we were still in WA

We had 4 nights in a Beach Chalet which was beautiful.

I hope you all dont get to bored reading through all of that

The Wedding

Well the night before the wedding i didnt go to bed really early around 11pm.I had a great nights sleep and woke up at around 7am got myself ready and then went to the hairdresser.
Everyone met up there and we had our hair done which only took about an hour and 15 mins for the 3 of us.
I had to get a few things from the shops before i went home so myself and my matron of honour went over and got what we needed then went back to mum and dads place.

The make-up artist arrived early so she got started on everyone.The photographer turned up around 1pm and started taking a few candid shots while we were getting ready.

Then about 1:15 it was time to get me into my dress..it was quite an effort and i had the 3 girls tying me into it :)
The bus turned up to pick family and some friends up and once they were gone it was time to go outside for the usual car shots and shots with dad and the girls.
2pm and it was time to head off
My Car

The trip out was about 1/2 hour and i got a little burnt on the way,plus i was finding it hard to breath with the dress on as it was a full corset so no bending or breathing for me all night.
We arrived at the church and all i wanted to do was get out of the car but the photographer had other ideas...so i was stuck in there for another 5 mins.
Getting out of the car was hard with a 3 tier hoop.
Im sure the boys were waiting patiently inside.

All dad wanted to do was get in there and hand me over.Sonny the minister greeted us at the door then proceeded to the end of the aisle and directed everyone to stand..then it was time for the girls to start walking down.
We followed behind them and laughed all the way down as dad was saying g`day to all his mates.

Then it was time for dad to give my hand to Rob...he didnt want to let go everyone had a great laugh and then he went and sat down

Sonny started the service and when he was doing his sermon we had a chance to sit down thank goodness as i was starting to get a little hot.

Before long it was time to exchange rings

Then that was it..all done :)

We walked back up the aisle as husband and wife and went outside for some photos and it gave people a chance to say thier congrats.I had a few friends come to the ceremony that i wasnt able to invite to the recpetion which was nice.

Everyone got back on the bus and went into town to the pub for some refreshments while we went and had pics done.
After a few hours it was time for us to go back to the Reception.We had some photos done there to

It was starting to get dark so we were introduced to everyone and the party began

Before long it was almost over.People had already started to leave and by Midnight we were the last ones left :)
Jadey and Jason stayed behind and we went back into town for a few more pics the it was time to go back to the Hotel

The week Before the Wedding

The lead up to our wedding was pretty hectic.We had done most of the organising in the 10 or so months prior so it was just the little things that needed doing once we had the RSVP`s back,such as table settings and printing out place cards.

We left for WA on the 19th March and it was such a looooonnngggg,boring.uncomfortable flight,even with being upgraded to premium economy with the extra legroom it was still bad.
We arrived to such wonderful weather to it was nice and warm with hardly any humidity.Mum and Dad picked us up from the airport and we made our way down to Mandurah where we would be staying for the next 2 and 1/2 weeks.

We arrived at mum and dads to be greeted by the new kitten Boris...the psyco cat :) He only has 2 modes...sleep and attack and boy did he have sharp little claws and teeth,and we figured he was teething to as he wouldnt stop chewing on our fingers with the back of his mouth and by the time we left there were little teeth there.
Tahya the staffy was a big boofa as always...wants to be near you all the time..if you sit down she leans on you or jumps up on the couch to be sitting right on you,and at 20+kgs shes no lightweight.

Thursday we had to go out and see Nicole who runs Redcliffe on the Murray where we were having our reception as we had to sort through a few things and decide where we wanted tables etc.She was very vague on the phone at times and we were under a bit of stress thinking that things wernt going to go to plan,but in person she is wonderful a definate peoples person.We decided that if the day was fine everything would be outside.Our only concern with that was the Mozzies.Mandurah in particular has had a massive invasion of them recently due to unusual high tides which puts water over the Larve and makes them hatch.They even had a notice in the paper to let the community know why it was happening and that they were spraying the waterways with helicopters and the streets to try and keep them under control.It was bad,you couldnt even go outside any time of the day without being attacked and generally they only come at dusk but this wasnt the case the whole time we were there.

Friday was Good Friday and the start to the long weekend.So friday the traffic was chaos with most people heading south.We went up to Kingspark in the early evening as friends that had come over had hired a camper van and were going to do a bit of travelling while they were there.We met up with them after they had been up to Geraldton and Kalbarri and they were making thier way down south the following day.After we left them we went to the airport where we met up with Robs best man Karl and his Finace Myvan,Peter and Petina and Robs brother Mark.We drove back to Mandurah and took Karl and Myvan to thier Chalet where they would be staying until after the wedding and proceeded back to mum and dads where Mark would be staying until after the wedding.

Saturday Rob myself Karl and Myvan went out to the Barn for some breakfast and to show them where we were having our reception and what our plans were for seating.
Saturday afternoon the Make-up artist came over for our trial for the wedding.It worked out great as My Hens night was a few hours after.
Now it was decided that my hens was going to be Bad Taste so as we had nothing we did a mad dash to the op shop to find something ans i was surprised to see it so packed with young people obviously doing the same thing :)
The night was fantastic.We played games and had a good time.
There was a stripper and he was pretty hot and i got to see EVERYTHING!! so i was quite happy with that as i always said i wanted none of this being covered up with a towel if i had a stripper :)

Rob had his second bucks night at my Maid of Honours house and by the sounds of it he drank ALOT and was very tired by sunday afternoon :).
Mum and i caught the train up to Perth so we could find her some jewellery to wear on the day we ended up finding some beautiful fresh water pearls.

The rest of the week was catching up with people and doing the last minute things for the wedding.On the Thursday we had the wedding Rehersal then went out for dinner with everyone to Hogsbreath.

Friday a group of us went down south.First stop was Augusta to the light house at Cape Leeuwin.

After we went back into Augusta for some lunch then drove back into Margaret River to a few Winerys and the Chocolate Factory.On the way back to Mandurah we stopped off at the jetty for a looksee then after a very long day drove back home.

Where has the time gone?

SO much has been happening lately time has gotten away from me...

Work has been non stop for the last 3 weeks with facials but its been great i have had a lot of customers who have all spent decent amounts of money so im happy i get a good comission this month :)

Well as for the diet i really have not been very good but im not stressing to much as i dont feel like i have put much on.

I picked up my dress on Wednesday and its all finshed :) so happy and excited... here are a few pics

The pics arent bright but you get the idea anyways :) in 3 weeks you can see the Professional pic...

Hopefully on wednesday the jeweller will come around to bring the rings and the bridesmaids jewellery which i cant wait to see how they turned out.

Mum has been getting together all the little things for me which has been a great help and it means we have more time to spend together and relax before the big day..I will have to get her something nice but im not sure what yet..maybe her jewellery i think i will have to see whats around.

Ok well my head is full of so many things i dont know what else to say so i will leave it at that for now..

Ok so i really dont have much to update..

I have been tracking pretty well food wise and so i should seeing as its delivered to me already prepared :)

Its the falling off the horse on the weekends that makes it feel so much harder to get back on during the week.

Works pretty busy and i have my annual conference starting next monday and finishing tuesday afternoon.We get to stay in the hotel for the night which is nice and means we dont have to worry about finding somewhere to get ready for the evenings events.

Happy Aussie Day Long Weekend

Well Happy Aussie Day to you all...

How aussie am i? i didnt even eat Lamb on the Barbie heheheh..

Had a dress fitting on Saturday morning..i have to have a bit of work done to the top of the dress which is ok as it is miles to big for me as i dont have a bust to fill the dress lol...unfortunately they didnt have a 3 tier hoops there that fit so they are going to order one in to my measurements so we can see if i need the hem taken up or weather it will make it full enough to lift it off the floor a bit
I dont know how i am going to go on the actual wedding day if its hot though.When i was standing there with it on i had sweat dripping down my legs might have to wrap myself in paper hehe and im not wearing stockings as i have open shoes.

Ive got another fitting on the 16th Feb which by the sounds of it..it might be my last one as its only a month until i go to Perth after that.

So after that was done Carissa (LITS) came over and we headed off to Bondi Junction for a spot of shopping then off to Bondi Beach.
We sat down there for a little while in the nice warm sun and proceeded to get a little red.Then we went across to Hogsbreath Cofe for some dinner which i must say was the best steak i have had in a while.
We drove back through the city so she could see the cross then we went over the habour bridge then back home where we proceeded to polish off 3 bottles of wine..This morning was a very lazy one i can tell you hahah.

Tomorrow we are off to a friends house for a BBQ and then its back to work.

I havnet weighted myself for a while now but im still plodding along.

Well i still have this silly infection.I had to go back to the docs this morning as i had finished my anitobiotics and still felt really unwell...Ive now been given some different antibiotics as the doc thinks that the ones i had didnt help this type of infection.

So tomorrow im actually going to start going back to the gym otherwise im wasting my money paying for a membership that im not using.

We had a friend down from the gold coast on the weekend and had a great time.Unfortunately i had to work both days that she was here but we managed to spend the evenings together.

I have almost finished the preps for the wedding but the biggest thing at the moment is the Music for the ceremony.
There are so many songs i want to walk down the isle to but i just cant decide lol
I either want Ave Maria in the pavarotti or celine dion version...or Adagio for strings...i guess i just have to see which one will be easier to walk down to and that isnt to slow.

Im not stressing yet which is good but with everyone asking me how the plans are going im sure i will be stressed from trying to think of what else needs to be done.:)

OK well im home with the worst chest infection i have had for a while..but im on massive doses of anti biotics so i should be right in a few days.
Actually im quite suprosed how well i feel ive just got this aweful cough that is hurting me now.
Im also suffering Eczema on my feet apparently so ive got some cortisone cream to put on it...as much as cortisone isnt to good for your skin i will do anything to get rid of it as i stand on my feet all day.
Mum wants me to go get tested for Asthma as chest probs and eczema usually go together and with all of her sister having it and one passing away from it shes quite concerned..so once i have gotten rid of the infection i will try and find someone who specialises in respiratory problems.

Anyways on to more exciting things.

On sunday we were up at 3:50am..OMG we almost didnt make the Dawn cruise with the monaro club.Rob had set the alarm but actually forgot to turn it on as he had turned it off the night before as he didnt have to get up early for work.I dont know what it is but when you know you have to get up early you just know you should be awake at a certain time.
Needless to say we made it to the meeting point only 10 mins late which was fine.
We drove from Loftus Oval down the Princess Hwy and down towards Otford through the national park.We watched the sun come up..well actually we watched the sky change colour as there was cloud on the horizon.
At about 6:30am we headed off towards Bulli beach for breakfast.Once we had eaten breakfast a few people had to leave due to other commitments,so we hung around for a while with the others then at around 10am its suddenly got very hot.Now we drive a 1972 HQ Monaro and the thing doesnt have any aircon...only 4/60 aircon....4 windows down and 60 miles and hour :)
So we made the treck home and it was absolutely boiling so we retired to the bedroom and put the aircon on and watched some BBC documentaries.

I had monday off and really didnt do much,just the usual housework then rested as i was starting to get sick..so i went off to the docs and the rest you already know.

For some reason even tho it is the quieter time of year at work i seem to be flat out...i think its been the travel to Castle Hill 2 days this week that has made it seem like i have been working 10 hour days everyday (i did 2, 10 hour days this week).

I think I'm coming down with the flu or something...my throat isn't sore when i swallow or anything but its irritated really deep down in the middle somewhere and a bit phlegmy. I need to go to the doctor on Monday anyway for a new pill script so i will get it looked at as well as a problem Ive had for a while with my feet....i sweat profusely on my feet and it gives me some type of fungal thing on my feet...they are like little blisters but itch like crazy...so i need to get that sorted as last time i was put on some type of anti biotic which helped and stopped it for quite a while but this time it keeps coming back.

OK for something that wasn't meant to be this long Ive rambled on a bit.

Ok its the 2nd of January 2008 and its my first post in my new blog.

Its not going to be a very long one as i still have a few things to add here and there. This year will promise much more blogging especially now that my wedding is coming up VERY fast!!
